Starbucks vs. English professor

Just as an add-on to my lament about cafes in the previous blog post: here’s the article showing you what I meant when I said the franchised cafes don’t care about customers and will never make me feel welcome and at home. The coffee store chain in question—Starbucks—insist so much on customers using their invented quasi-Italian terms when ordering, that they refuse to serve guests who don’t conform to their linguistic acrobatics.
